Back in the early '90s, I used to make fun little 3D models on my Amiga computer with a program called Cinema 4D. Cinema 4D is still around and has grown from a fun little Amiga program to a fully functioned professional package! It has even been used on big budget Hollywood blockbusters like Iron Man 2, District 9, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
I tried several different 3D modeling packages and discovered that Cinema 4D is the easiest to use and also provided the best results. The program is packed with all kinds of special features that are not found in competitor's products and they really make a difference in creating realistic 3D models that are up to expectation.
Cinema 4D is superior to other similarly-price 3D modeling programs for many reasons. The most important being the physical render engine that allows designers to view their designs realistically. This is especially useful to 3D animators, as it gives a better look at what the depth of field, motion blur, and other photographic effects will look like before they spend hours or days rendering a final version.
Hundreds of preset characters and objects are included that will decrease your workload when creating 3D models or animations. Since they are all included as templates, you can make any kind of changes to make these characters and objects fit in with your project. And if you need realistic movement, the CMotion function offers full control of animation with just a few clicks of your mouse.
Even better, Cinema 4D is fully compatible with many other software packages, including Final Cut Pro, AVID and Adobe AfterEffects. Plus, Cinema 4D has stereoscopy included for animators planning to project their creations in RealD enhanced theaters. It's a truly amazing modeling program all around.
